The Market Inn – Information

The Market Inn A Sheps pub on the corner of East Street and Park Road alongside the recreation ground. This is a very large pub so don’t be put off  as you enter if it looks busy, bands play in a large area to the side of the main bar and there is also a large, well planned garden area. The Market has a reputation for putting on good music, however, they recently seem to have cut-back on Friday night gigs and are concentrating more on Sunday afternoons. That said, the bands booked to play on Friday nights differ from the usual pub band stuff – more unique – the likes of M.O.D and The Geoff Everett Band – well worth seeing!
