The Anchor – Hop Festival Info 2011

The Anchor A Sheps pub situated at the far end of Abbey Street close to Standard Quay where you can see Thames sailing barges moored. The Anchor has a large garden with stage, an outside bar and usually a BBQ. The landlord, Hamish Stuart, is a well known musician, his band (named for this occasion ‘The Anchors’)  will be playing over the weekend in addition to an extensive line-up of bands. There is a side entrance to the garden area on the Standard Quay side of the pub. Anchor Website The Anchor
