The Railway - Faversham Hop Festival 2020 Information

The Railway
FAVERSHAM HOP FESTIVAL 2020
The Railway is (as you might expect) opposite the railway station on the corner of Preston Street and Station Road. Its large garden area and car park becomes a great Hop Festival venue with music all weekend. It is a Shepherd Neame pub with a reputation for looking after its beer! The Railway is a popular Hop Festival venue with its large outdoor area, loads of tables and chairs, outside bar and great music. It is also very well organised and despite the large number of people, there is little waiting time to get served (in my experience).

MUSIC:

FRIDAY

SATURDAY

SUNDAY

More information on the bands playing at The Railway:

Paragraph 1
"PARAGRAPH 1 IS ONE OF KENT'S MOST DESIRED UP AND COMING LIVE MUSIC BANDS. WE HAVE PERFORMED OUR COVERS AND ORIGINAL LIVE MUSIC ACROSS KENT, INCLUDING THANET, CANTERBURY, SWALE AND THE SOUTH KENT COAST.
We are yet to experience anywhere that is not bouncing off the walls by the time we have finished! We entertain, perform and provide a music experience that can only be matched by perhaps some of the 'top end' performers. We take pleasure in people listening, joining, dancing, singing and participating in our sets."

The Crossfire

The Crossfire came into existence between lunch and around half past 3 on a Thursday. All hard core ex- Pro musicians, born & raised in a vat of Jack Daniels, with a slightly smoky flavour, the band play a powerful blend of rock, acoustic rock & blues influences, with the occasional bit of funk thrown in. Though mainly a covers band, The Crossfire are also working on original material for future release. Artists covered currently include Talking Heads, Elbow, Stereophonics, Stones, Beatles, Foo Fighters, Muse, Radiohead, Weller, ThePretenders, Starsailor, Bowie, U2 and The Who.
