Our final singers' night at the Chimney Boy
May we announce a last chance to sing and perform at the Chimney Boy for a few months. A great era is being interupted but we hope, not ended, as the popular folk club venue brings down its curtain after Wednesday 1st January for massive refurbishments. Dave Cook and Rachel are opening up the downstairs bar, exclusively for the club (the pub is otherwise closed) and we invite all our old members and friends to contribute to what could be a sad but mostly a joyous occasion of singing and playing in the format that we've known for around forty years.Faversham Folk Club carries on as normal, and Angie & Clive Simmonds at the Brent's Tavern in Faversham have kindly offered their upper room from 8th January onwards. We have three guest nights booked in January alone.
