Archived 7th to 23rd December 2015 - FAVERSHAM ROTARY CHRISTMAS CAROL TOUR

Every December, the Faversham Rotary Club take their Christmas float out around the streets of Faversham and raise money for charity. It has become a bit of an instituion in Faversham - once you have seen the Christmas float, you know Christmas is just around the corner! Kids love to come out and see the float and put their change in the collecting tins.

The float is decorated with various Christmas scenes, twinkling lights and of course, Christmas music!

The float drives around various streets from 6pm to 8pm and volunteer Rotary members knock on doors to collect money for charity. Money raised goes to local good causes.

So please keep an eye out for the float when it comes round your street and have you donations ready!!

The float also has a stand at Tesco's, Morrisons and the market place too. A full list of dates and locations is below (which may be subject to minor changes - changes will be posted on this FB event page). All collections on the streets are from 6pm to 8pm. If your street is not listed, sorry but we can't get round to every street! So please visit us at one of the supermarkets or the market place to make your donation.
