Sad news of David Bowie's death.
Why sad? I didn't know him. . . . Popular music is perhaps the soundtrack to many of our lives and perhaps influences who we are if only in a small way. With his death it is like part of us has gone too and we will never get that back.
It reminds us that we are mortal and to make the most of our lives, at least for a while.
